Vintage Kuchi Tribal Hair Adornment Tikka Barrette Hair Jewelry (#8795)

Description

Lovely, pretty, tribal tikka hair clip from Afghanistan. The upper portion has a hook that is used to attach to hair or headdresses. There is also a barrette to hold into place - made for the right side of the head due to the direction of the fastener. You could wear as is, or use to embellish a headdress, hair garden, or create a more elaborate tikka ornament. Vintage item with signs of age and wear, including metal that is aged with patina and bits of chipped settings. This is made of solid brass that feels dense. It weighs about 2.5 ounces.
