    Description

Antique Primitive Ethnic Tribal 1890s Amber & Silver Ball Wire Bracelet
Presented is a very primitive bold and chunky antique bracelet of faceted silver balls and amber beads threaded over a heavy wire with a wound wire hook and loop closure. In this late 1800's piece, the silversmith made the ball forms of wood, and then covered the wood with silver, which he or she subsequently decorated with vertical pleats by hand.
The condition of the bracelet is pretty good. The beads and wire seem indestructible. One bead is missing a little silver on one end, showing the wood beneath it. The beads show wear, and it appears that three beads are missing.
